Job Summary

University of Utah Athletics Department, a Division I and Pac-12 Conference Institution, is seeking a Head Coach for the Women's Tennis program. The University seeks a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong commitment toNCAADivision I athletics, integrity, compliance, character, diversity, and the academic and athletic experience of the student-athlete.

Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for developing and strengthening a nationally competitive women's tennis program, by presenting a clear vision and strategy to compete for Pac-12 andNCAAChampionships. The candidate must engage in the personal, academic, and athletic development of student-athletes and is responsible for the program's strict compliance with University, Pac-12 Conference, andNCAAregulations. This position will oversee the management of the Women's Tennis program, which will include managing the team's budget.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, or higher, plus six years of related experience; experience recruiting and coaching at a Division-I level are highly preferred. Proven organizational, evaluation, administrative, collaboration, and communication skills; a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure; knowledge ofNCAAregulations; and a commitment to comply fully with the mission statements of the University and Department, including the Athletics Department's vision are required. This position requires the operation of a motor vehicle as part of the job responsibilities. A valid driver's license and successful completion of the University-required background checks are required.
