Job Duties
Incumbent will operate at the forefront of the Department of Urology, Gender Health Program. Serve as a Gender Health Program Supervisor for departmental clinical education program(s) and several research projects. Responsible for oversight, quality control and analysis of multiple education plans. The incumbent is responsible for program operations that are both ground-breaking and innovative. Incumbent must consider all internal and external variables and assess existing processes and develop, implement and assess new processes that will impact program goals and objectives for clinical treatment, outreach and evaluation measures. The Gender Health Program Supervisor is responsible for decisions and recommendations on behalf of and to the Director of Operations, CAO and Medical Directors that affect the directional aspects of the program and which ultimately guide programmatic decisions on program coordination, patient care and outreach. Incumbent will also be responsible for grant writing, study coordination as well as regulatory research activities. The incumbent will oversee all aspects of the program, including but not limited to, high touch navigation for patients and family members on and off the UCLA Campus, coordination of all travels and accommodations for patient and family members, direction and analysis of program issues (budgetary, coordination and patient care), implementation of program guidelines, policies, eligibility criteria, protocols, and interventions as well as working with the Director of Operations, CAO and Director of Finance to develop all financial and operational reports.

Job Qualifications
Bachelors Degree strongly preferred Ability to recognize problems and their implications, propose alternatives, and recommendations. Implement solutions and analyze information to determine programmatic needs. Ability to manage competing deadlines and/or crisis and consider many complex variables for resolution. Skill in prioritizing assignments, delegating assignments to ensure work is completed in a timely manner. Demonstrated writing skills to compose logical, comprehensive, and grammatically correct program plans, correspondence, procedures, and reports. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, MS Publisher, PowerPoint and web-based programs. Demonstrated professionalism and poise to resolve any problems/issues that may arise. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the general public, and culturally diverse patient populations, co-workers, professional staff and faculty in an appropriate manner. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a team member Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed. Strongly Preferred- Masters' Degree in Social work or related field Preferred- Knowledge of UCLA Medical School organizational structure; clinical, research, and administrative departments. Knowledge of UCLA School of Medicine and hospital nursing processes. Knowledge of University's EMR System. Demonstrated basic knowledge of physician office policies and procedures. Knowledge of university financial ledgers and accounting procedures. Knowledge of basic medical terminology Demonstrated knowledge of University fiscal policies and procedures. Bilingual (Spanish) - skill in speaking clearly and distinctly and using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and convey Clinical information.
