What you will do

The Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for promoting andselling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assignedterritory, leveraging relationships, closing new business for Johnson ControlsSecurity and ensuring customer retention. This person is the JohnsonControls "brand steward", charged with telling the Johnson Controls storyand clearly demonstrating that Johnson Controls is the leading electronicsecurity provider. The Commercial Account Executive is responsible forsecuring profitable sales and upgrades to new, existing and discontinued TycoIntegrated Security Commercial customers while maximizing customer satisfactionand retention by initiating post installation follow-ups. This rep willalso have a commanding knowledge of our product line, as well as that of ourservices.

How you will do it

Adhere to current Johnson Controls policies, procedures, products,programs and services.

Create new market share by selling Johnson Controls products andservices to new local commercial customers. Sell additional products andservices to existing accounts that continue to present new salesopportunities. Sell add-ons, amend, and convert existing customer systemsto meet the customers' expectations. Renewexisting customer agreements. Responsible for resale opportunities within anassigned territory Identify prospects utilizing creative lead-generatingtechniques and maintain productive working relationships with existingcustomers. Independently establish callplans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics, and consistently applytime and territory management techniques. Follow up with prospects. Maintainan in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services and customers'issues and needs through in-house training and reading/research. Obtain referrals and work with Centers ofInfluence. Process work order andcomplete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures. Conduct post installation follow-up bycontacting customer, ensuring commitments were met and affirming customersatisfaction once the customer has been in service.

What we look for

* College degree preferred.
* High school degree or equivalentrequired.
* Minimum of 2 years experience as asuccessful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or othertechnology sales industry, demonstrated by the consistent ability to meet andexceed quota.
* Excellent oral, written andpresentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executiveswithin the customer and Tyco Integrated Security organizations
