Job Responsibilities:
We have an opening for a full-time mid-level Environmental Engineer/Scientist within our Contaminated Sites team, based in the Perth office. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for leading, supervising and performing fieldwork duties on site, as well as technical leadership of office-based work. Interacting with multiple disciplines, you will work on technically challenging projects. You will have excellent industry mentoring by working with two WA Accredited Contaminated Sites Auditors and other industry leaders in Risk Assessment, Toxicology and Contaminant Hydrogeology. This is an opportunity for you to be involved in a diverse range of high profile projects and develop your career within a dynamic and employee-owned professional consulting company.

Your responsibilities may involve:
* General field investigations which will include soil and groundwater investigations, monitoring programs and implementation and managing site remediation programs;
* Data management, interpretation and reporting for phased environmental site assessments, contaminant assessments, and remediation;
* Environmental assessments and planning including baseline environmental investigations, due diligence investigations, environmental hazard identification and risk assessment;
* Safety leadership in identifying and alleviating/eliminating high priority safety hazards; and
* Training and supervising work of technicians and junior professional staff on site.

Job Requirements:
You will be qualified with a bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline. You will have previous fieldwork experience and a good understanding of Australian contaminated sites guidelines and procedures and environmental regulations. It is expected that you will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
