About Farmingdale State College:

Job Description:

Periodically, adjunct teaching positions become available in the Architecture & Construction Management department. For Architecture courses would include: COURSES (studio): Graphics; Architectural Design I-V; Construction Design; Site Design COURSES (lecture): Materials & Methods of Construction; Mech., Elect., Plumb., Systems; Building and Zoning Codes. For Construction Management courses would included: Estimating; Project Planning & Scheduling; Construction Engineering. For Civil Engineering Courses would include: Statics; Strength of Materials; Structural Design; Civil Engineering Materials; Surveying; Soils & Foundations

Requirements:

A minimum of a Master's Degree is required. Prior College level teaching experience preferred.

Architecture:

QUALIFICATIONS: B. Arch. (5 year) or M. Arch. or BS Arch. + MS in related field.

PREFERRED: Architectural Registration (RA) license

Construction Management:

QUALIFICATIONS: BS construction/civil/architectural + MS in related field.

PREFERRED: Construction Management, Construction Administration or field experience

Civil Engineering:

QUALIFICATIONS: BS Civil + MS in related field.

PREFERRED: Professional Engineering (PE) license
