Adjunct Professor of Organ and Carillon/College Organist

Westminster College (New Wilmington, PA) invites applications for the Adjunct Professor of Organ and Carillon position to begin August 1, 2024. This position is a part-time, non-tenure-track position in Music. Rank: Adjunct Professor. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate applied lessons in organ and carillon, and will serve as the organist and carillonneur for the College. There will also be responsibilities associated with performing in College events hosted by the Westminster College Office of Faith and Spirituality. This person will also work with the College Chaplain to coordinate service music including recommendations for hymns and sung responses following worship themes. Additional teaching may be assigned based on the candidate’s strengths, availability, and School of Music needs. A master’s degree in music and prior experience teaching applied organ lessons at varying levels is required. Experience performing organ in professional music settings is preferred.
