CVS Health offers a comprehensive internship program designed to engage students, impart valuable skills, and offer insight into a potential career path with a Fortune 12 company. Highlights include a structured program plan, hands on project work, access to mentorship and networking opportunities, and learning and development sessions. During the 10 week engagement interns will be in a supportive learning environment contributing both independently and on a team against key department initiatives. Competitive compensation is offered including a stipend for eligible candidates.

The Strategic Proposal Management department responds to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). In this role, employees learn about all aspects of PBM services and other areas of the Enterprise. This position includes regular training about various departments in the company and key PBM concepts.

Interns would be expected to assist in responding to RFPs through the use of template content. They will be given opportunities to observe and participate in all aspects of the proposal process including kick-off calls, coordination of information, organizing and printing the final deliverable.

What you will do

* Assist in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP) using template content
* Format proposals to meet internal marketing specifications
* Observe and participate in all aspects of the proposal process including kick-off calls, coordination of information, organizing and printing the final deliverable
* Gain knowledge of key PBM concepts and various departments in the company
* Work on multiple projects at once while meeting all deadlines.

Required Qualifications

Availability to work full time for duration of the 10 week program.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word

Writing skills including: great spelling, punctuation and grammar

Preferred Qualifications

Prior office work experience.

* Have a willingness to relocate
* Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
* Possess strong analytical and problem resolution skills
* Be able to communicate effectively with a diverse audience
* Encourage teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness
* Be resourceful and can quickly and successfully adapt to change
* Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health

Education

* You should currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree
* Major: Healthcare, Business, Management, Marketing
* Have a 3.3+ cumulative GPA
* Have an anticipated graduation date between December 2020 - June 2021
