Administrative Assistant II Facilities Colorado Mountain College Steamboat Springs

The Administrative Assistant II provides support and coordinates activities of the facilities department. The AAII will coordinate work order requests, motor pool, handle purchase orders, invoices, reconciliations, coordinate details with various projects such as RFP (Requests for Proposal), RFQ (Requests for Quote) and provide general clerical support in other duties as assigned.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to working in a culturally competent environment and the ability to effectively work with students, employees, and community members having diverse backgrounds. Conversational Spanish language skills may be helpful.

Education and Experience sufficient for the rigors of the position. Examples include a Bachelor’s degree and one year related experience, Associate’s degree and two years related experience, or High School/GED and three years related experience. An applicable combination of education and experience necessary for the position responsibilities required.

Special skills or abilities: proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel; proficiency with technology and standard office equipment.
