The challenge

Our Seattle based digital media team is seeking a software development engineer to help us build the next generation of products and services for graphic designers. This position will challenge the individual with helping define and create Adobe's next generation software.

What you'll do

Quickly learn new tools and technologies.
Work effectively as a member of an Agile development team.
Work closely with quality engineers, product management, and other developers to define, implement and improve features and workflows for our current and future products, positively influencing product design with a strong customer focus.
Design robust architectures and write high quality software while conducting peer reviews for others.
What you need to succeed

University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Passion and ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
Ability to develop both native and mobile applications using C/C /ObjC/Python/Java/.NET/Ruby, or similar languages and platforms.
Understanding of both high and low level web technologies such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript and HTTP/TCIP/IP/DNS/SSL.
Familiarity with database technologies.
Excellent written and oral English language skills.
Ideal

Knowledge of evolving HTML/CSS standards and implementation in major browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
Experience with cloud deployment platforms such as AWS/AppEngine/Heroku
Understanding of web frameworks such as Node.js, Backbone.js, JQuery, and Bootstrap
Experience with Adobe products, including Muse, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, etc.
