Job Description

Primary Responsibilities HR Regional Leadership - provide expert HR consultancy and leadership to management and employees within region the western region. The region includes 9 locations and sales for a total of -630 employees: Vernon, CA (-420, Temecula, CA (-78), Rancho Dominguez, CA (-70), Charlotte, NC (-35), Benicia, CA (-30), Vancouver, WA (-15), Denver, CO (-15), Bellingham, WA (-7), Homer, AK (1 employee) Communicate and resolve HR related issues arising from the region Talent Acquisition - support manpower plan, including growth and attrition. Support talent pipeline to include Engineering (college recruiting and intern/co-op programs), skilled labor (apprentice programs & technical schools) and leadership talent (internal and external) Learning and Development - support the implementation of training and development programs that strengthen organizational and individual effectiveness Business Performance - support Flowserve Performance Management process by engaging leadership to address performance issues and manage process Employee Relations - ensure employment practices are deployed consistent with company policies and philosophy, legal requirements, collective bargaining agreement, and resolution of grievances Organizational Structure - support regional org structure by ensuring clean org structures and clear reporting relationships. This includes jobs scoped and defined at the correct levels and pay delivered commensurate with job levels and associatecontribution Qualifications Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree in Human Resources preferred, business or related field, and0-1year HR experience Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people Experience in manufacturing environment Team oriented with excellent communication skills Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and coach cooperative team approaches Must possess strong analytical skills, and be computer literate Prior experience working with a union is a plus Flowserve is an equal opportunity employer
