Job Description: Position Overview: CureMD is currently offering immediate Summer internship opportunities for students & graduates to explore their interest in healthcare information technology (HIT). Our 12-week summer program educates, encourages and engages your academic knowledge to help us make a difference in healthcare.-- The individual will build valuable career experience by participating in our unique student internships.-- CureMD interns play an active role in our business by contributing to significant projects that provide a chance to make an immediate impact.-- The internships are designed to expose you to one specific department or project, or some may allow for you to rotate between departments at--CureMD.-- Internship opportunities are available in: Client Services Implementation Support Technical/Software Support Sales & Marketing-- --Requirements: Student or graduate student (computer science, healthcare management or administration, communications, healthcare IT, marketing, or related field). Have completed at least two years of undergraduate study as a full-time student An interest in healthcare or information technology, customer support, account management, marketing/sales is a plus.-- Should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills both verbally and written with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Compensation:---- The internship will be non-paid for 90 days.-- A weekly stipend is provided to interns to assist with transportation and meals.-- Opportunities for permanent hire at the completion of the internship may be considered for the right candidate.
