Welbilt's internship program is designed to expose individuals to all phases of the foodservice equipment value chain and will take place at the Corporate Headquarters in New Port Richey, FL.

* Increase proficiency and help develop interpersonal skills; provide mentors who can provide guidance, feedback and support

* Share your experiences and present key learnings to a management team

* Report to a Senior Member of the Finance/Accounting team

Welbilt is looking for two (2) Accounting/Finance Interns - each will work on different projects with the corporate finance/accounting team. Projects/responsibilities may include the following:

Corporate Accounting Intern

* Assist Corporate Accounting team with compilation and review of financial and other data for inclusion in Securities and Exchange Commission June 30, 2020 Form 10-Q quarterly filing

* Participation in numerous corporate accounting functions including:
* quarterly analytic reviews for business units,

* worldwide monthly consolidation,
* accumulating and analyzing accounting data for specific reserve accounts,

* preparation of account analyses,
* technical accounting research,
* accounting policies and procedures, and
* planning and participation in the Worldwide Controllers meeting in June 2020 to be held in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida

Project Analyst Intern

* Assist in coordinating and accumulating data for current finance initiatives (p-card/T&E card program); assist the project team with creating policies and SOP's for this program

* Assist in the setup and coordination of facility logistics for projects

* Assist in the vendor master data cleansing exercise (Global Vendor Master Project) to ensure the information is consistent across the businesses

* Assist with testing and implementation of AP/AR Workflow (create SOP's) and training programs

* Assist and support implementation of Account Reconciliation tool

Job Requirements

Program Qualifications:

* Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting at an accredited school. Must have completed at least 60 credit hours or Sophomore year of coursework prior to the start of the internship.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft, Word, PowerPoint, PWA) - strong excel skills (vlookup, macros)

* Work environment - normal office conditions with extended periods of sitting/standing

* Schedule - normal business hours; up to 30 hours per week

* Must have valid US Work authorization
