At Choice Broadband, Small- and Medium-sized Business (SMB) Sales Specialists are responsible for driving new and existing business within an assigned geography or business vertical. This is a quota-carrying and revenue-generating position that reports directly to the Commercial Sales Manager. To be successful in this role you must possess excellent problem solving skills, strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail, the ability to multi-task efficiently, and strong oral (phone) and written (email) communication skills. The right candidate for this role will also be a self-starter with a highly entrepreneurial spirit.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Proactively target new customers through cold calling and lead generation
* Schedule sales meetings with new clients every week
* Build and create a constant pipeline of prospective customers
* Meet and exceed revenue expectations & sales quotas
* Negotiation skills & selling to customer needs (aka Gap Selling)
* Ensure all customers are on an active Choice Wireless/Choice Broadband contract
* Develop relationships with prospect customer contacts
* Participate in a cold call, role play, activities and shadow cold calls with manager and colleagues
* Work closely with existing customers to align their business needs with Choice Wireless/Choice Broadband solutions and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to drive revenue growth
* Building relationships with peers & management
* Work closely with leadership and commercial sales teams to identify new opportunities and help facilitate new solution programs
* Utilize additional sales resources to target and identify new business targets
* Utilize Salesforce.com database to reflect pipeline and account activity accurately
* Facilitate proposal review process for new business opportunities
* Implement process and procedure augmentations

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of B2B sales, customer service, and/or telecommunications experience.
* Previous experience or knowledge of Wireless and ISP solutions
* Proficient with Microsoft Office programs

Preferred Qualifications:

* College degree preferred with an emphasis in Sales or Marketing.
* Previous experience in a professional setting
* 3 years of sales, customer service, and/or telecommunications experience.
* Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management tool is preferred, expertise with Salesforce.com is highly desired
