This position will work in Standard's headquarters managing the owners and co-chief executive officers' Family Office.

What part will you play?

Responsibilities include, among other things, the following:

* Assist with all aspects of the Family Office's accounts payable, treasury, financial reporting and tax processes for a variety of operational businesses and individuals
* Assist in financial planning and budgeting processes
* Process invoices and obtain invoice approval in accordance with company signing and delegation policy
* Process vendor payments by wire, paper checks and online bill pay
* Assist with intercompany billings and settlement
* Assist with administering company credit card program using Concur
* Setup new vendors and maintain vendor list
* Administrative and data entry tasks, as requested
* Assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects, as requested

What do we require from you?

* Candidates are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
* Candidates must be in the NJ/NY metro area for the duration of the internship
* Minimum overall GPA requirement is 3.5
* Candidate must be actively pursuing a Finance or Accounting degree from an accredited institution, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2020 and May 2022
* Strong analytical and time management skills
* Capability to multitask
* Proficiency in all Microsoft applications and excellent computer skills expected
* Extremely detailed oriented and well organized
* Strong communication skills and work ethic
* Self-starter and proactive with desire to be part of a high performing team
* Highly responsive
* Uncompromised ethics and integrity
* Ability to work independently and under pressure
* Willingness and capability to learn and grow
