Location St. Marys Medical Center About the Organization Thank you for considering St. Mary's Medical Center for employment opportunities. St. Mary's Medical Center's tradition of care began on November 6, 1924, when eight Pallottine Missionary Sisters opened a 35-bed hospital. These pioneer Sisters adopted the motto, "The Love of Christ Impels Us," thereby creating a strong foundation for their dedication and hard work.Throughout the past 90 years, thousands of lay people -- employees, physicians and volunteers -- have joined the Pallottine Missionary Sisters to bring quality health care to the people of the Tri-State. Today, St. Mary's is the largest medical facility in the region and the Tri-State's largest healthcare employer with more than 2,800 employees. Its Regional Heart Institute, Regional Cancer Center, Regional Neuroscience Center and ER/Level II Trauma Center provide advanced care to the people of the tri-state region. Our values of Compassion, Hospitality, Reverence, Interdependence, Stewardship and Trust reflect our beliefs and are the guiding principles for all our actions.
