Position Description:

We are currently offering full-time, summer internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. If you are interested in a career related to IT or Corporate Headquarters Services (i.e. Human Resources, Accounting, Recruiting, etc.), this opportunity is for you!

As a ValidaTek Intern, you will collaborate with many of our corporate departments such as Accounting, IT/Facilities, Human Resources, Recruiting and Program Support in order to acquire the general skills and knowledge of corporate infrastructure. In addition, you will receive a mentor in the professional, technical and/or business industry, exposure to networking opportunities within the DC metro area, as well as the potential to receive course credit (with permission from your college/university).

* Support the various corporate departments in daily administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, ordering supplies, stocking items, sorting mail, greeting visitors, etc.
* Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (i.e. social media, e-mail and website updates)
* Generate department-specific reports
* Assist with research and analysis for Business Development (BD)
* Prepare promotional presentations
* Help coordinate company events/outings

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

* Self-motivated with the ability to perform under pressure
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* A willingness to be utilized where most needed within the company
* Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program that aligns with our primary services
* In good academic standing
* Able to commute to the McLean, VA office
