Peterbilt of Charleston, a member of The Larson Group, which is one of the largest award winning dealer groups in the country is looking for a General Manager. The General Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the Location and its daily procedures. This position plans, directs and controls all activities of the assigned location/profit center through department managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* P&L responsible- Familiar with Leasing company P&L and have full accountability regarding operating results. Candidate will be responsible for revenue and expense functions of the business.
* Ability to coordinate both Lease and Rental sales efforts. This includes the ability to structure profitable full service lease business and achieve the required rental utilization goals and rental ROI. Achieving Company customer retention goals.
* Develop & Implement Business Plans. Business plans presented and approved by Company Senior Management.
* Remain knowledgeable/proficient on all Industry trends, updates changes and why they are important to the Company.
* Positive environment- Promote a highly professional, teamwork, goal oriented environment to achieve goals. Develop employees to achieve career oriented employment with company.
* Achieve maintenance cost per mile, warranty recovery and preventive maintenance goals as set forth in business plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* College degree is required
* 10 years of Full Service Truck Leasing experience
* Ideal candidate will possess both sales and operations experience. Ideal candidate has a well rounded successful track record in sales and operations. Must be able to specifically define improvements made, goals achieved with prior endeavors.
* Previous dealership experience is a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail & highly organized
* Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
