Grow what's next. Grow your future. Corteva Agriscience sponsors a variety of 6 month internships in agricultural research across many field research centers in North America. These research centers house trait development, crop protection and plant breeding research activities. Sharing resources across research groups facilitates more efficient integrated product development. Integrated Field Science interns at these research centers will provide the opportunity for you to obtain diverse experiences across these functions responsible for integrated product development.

Openings are available in Champaign, IL and Windfall, IN. Position duration is May to December 2020.

Responsibilities - WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You will work as part of a team in field plot management, and precision phenotyping tasks associated with trait development, crop protection, digital ag and plant breeding projects. You may also assist other IFS Field Scientists located in the geographic region, but not stationed at the research center. You will also manage your own research project with the expectation of a verbal report to the larger intern group at Corteva facilities in Johnston, IA.

Intern positions provide excellent experience that can be applied to full time positions in the industry, or in preparation for additional graduate level training in the plant sciences.


Qualifications - WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

* Current sophomore or junior standing at an accredited university
* Education focus in Agronomy, Plant Physiology, Plant Pathology, Genetics, Biology or a related field
* Must be available for the entire duration of the 6 month internship
* Agricultural background beneficial
* Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
* Must be enrolled at an accredited university at the time of internship
