Job Description

Manages the Replenishment team, responsible for maintaining store inventory of replenished SKUs. Ensures established service level, from Distribution Center (DC) to stores, is consistently met or exceeded. Provides leadership and ensures execution of replenishment strategies to achieve business results.

1. Develops the inbound and outbound replenishment strategy, in conjunction with Buying, Planning, and Presentation teams, to maximize sales and inventory productivity.

2. Manages sales forecasts, receipts forecasts, and SKU level forecasts, and develops order quantities and receipt timing for each replenished SKU.

3. Manages store MIN/MAX inventory levels, adjusting for changes in sales trends, seasonal selling patterns, regional variances, and advertising.

4. Manages the annual SKU-rationalization process for all replenished SKU program.

5. Manages purchase order tracking and routing process to verify on-time receiving of product using exception based reporting. Communicates delivery and receipt issues to cross-functional teams.

6. Develops and maintains cross-functional communication across all areas of the business involved in the replenishment process.

7. Identifies DC out of stocks, and communicates allocation issues to the stores. 8. Ensures proper communication and allocation of advertised product. Maintains a library of historical results.

9. Coordinates allocation activities with the DC for maximum efficiency of both teams.

10. Provides hindsight evaluation of key product performance and the replenishment strategy, recommends process and procedural improvements for the replenishment team, and shares information with all cross-functional teams. 11. Reviews individual store performance in relation to sales, demographics, selling square footage and inventory productivity and ensures development and execution of a replenishment strategy that considers and reacts to all factors.

12. Manages direct reports including staffing, training, development, performance assessment, disciplinary actions and succession planning.

1. College degree required.

2. Minimum of 5 years replenishment, allocation, and/or inventory management experience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

3. System capable in in spreadsheet, word processing, analytical and data warehouse tools, and system savvy in the education of new tools required.

4. Strong analytical and evaluative skills with the ability to draw conclusions, develop processes and execute effectively from extensive data sources required.

5. Excellent time management, communication, prioritizing and problem solving skills required.

6. Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills required.
