Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties will include assisting in new student orientation, supervision, and instruction of DVM students and veterinary technology students. After hours emergency duty will be shared with other house officers. Participation in the intern teaching rounds and seminars are required. Providing assistance in veterinary laboratory sessions will be required. Creative activities such as research and manuscripts preparation are encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be eligible for employment in the U.S. at the time they apply for a position at MSU CVM. Mississippi State University employs only citizens of the US, Canada, and Mexico, and nationals of the US and aliens authorized to work in the US by the time of commencement of the position. Applicants must be a graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary school, and have passed NAVLE licensure examination, or a graduate that has completed the entire ECFVG qualification process.
