Job Description

Hours/Week: Intern - Temporary Location: US:NY:Oneida

Position requires travel (10 - 15%)

Education and Training:

* Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior and attaining a B.S. or B.A. in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
* Prior employment in a financial related environment or customer oriented business preferred.


* Proficient analytical and organizational skills
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
* PC proficiency especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Proven ability to work well independently.


* Schedules, plans and performs audit assignments for various branches and departments within established frameworks, and prepares detailed work papers and audit findings, which are submitted to the In-charge Auditor
* Analyzes audit programs for effectiveness and recommends changes and improvements
* Conducts special audits as assigned
* Elicits information from all levels of staff in audited departments; shares findings with management for clarification
* Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion
