Job Description

Interns will gain valuable publishing experience in the preparation of textbook manuscripts for publication. Duties may include clean-up, formatting, and mark-up of manuscript, minor editing, competitive analysis, preparing image and art lists and manuscript, and other miscellaneous developmental tasks. The intern will work side-by-side with development editors and editorial assistants. The successful intern will be detail oriented, able to juggle many aspects of numerous books at one time, well spoken, and willing to think outside the box.


The successful intern will be intelligent, detail oriented, highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple simultaneous projects, well spoken, outgoing, reliable, and an independent, self-motivated worker. Applicant must be enrolled in a degreed program with at least one year of schooling completed or graduated from a degreed program in the past year. Strong Word, Excel skills. Personable, Detail-Oriented, Hardworking. Strongly Considering a Career in Publishing.
