Job Description

Gana-A'Yoo Services Corporation/Six Mile, LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team. This position will report to the General Manager and will have day to day administrative tasking as well as direct management responsibilities of contract sites. The Assistant General Manager will be required to build our presence on existing contracts as well as search out and obtain new work.

Type of position: Full-time, Regular

Location: Remotely; Preference in CA, CO, FL, or DC

Industry: Service, Waste, Environmental and Maintenance

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with weekends and additional hours as needed. 40 hours per week minimum

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Primary Duties include:

* Assist and coordinate successful contract execution
* Assist General Manager in coordinating, directing, and planning business operations
* Assist in tracking budget and trend analysis to improve profitability
* Assist with allocating and prioritizing resources
* Collaborate with various department for strategic planning, objectives and policies
* Participate in business development pursuits

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience
* Minimum of five (5) years of management experience with increased responsibility and strong supervisory skills
* Experience in service, waste, professional service or a combination preferred
* PMP certification preferred or ability to complete in first six (6) months
* Possession of a valid driver's license; must qualify for company insurance coverage based on driving record
* Ability to pass a background and drug screening
* Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office programs
* Advanced SharePoint user experience preferred
* Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, budgeting and coordination of people and resources
* Exceptional interviewing experience preferred
* SCA/DBA/Union/Government contracting experience required
* Strong presentation skill, comfortable presenting at Board level
* Experience in Alaska Native Corporations preferred but not required

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in an office setting and interfaces with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
