Job Description

The Intern - IPB will assist with our laboratory and greenhouse studies related to the development of a microbial biopesticide to control not only plant parasitic nematodes but also a wide variety of insect pest species. The Intern will assist in preparing materials for bioassays, establishing...A successful candidate is a quick-learner, innovative, creative and team oriented with:

Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences. Prefer an emphasis in entomology, nematology or plant pathology.
Hands-on lab and greenhouse experience
A professional and positive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

In addition, the Intern should have:

Good time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task
Commitment to work at least 10-15 hours per week during the school year
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. with help or independently occasionally.
