Associate Business Analyst

Data-Driven Analyst. Tech Native. Strategic Communicator.

Position Overview:

We are searching for an Associate Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives. In this role, you will work alongside Senior Business Executives and Solution Architects to collect and collate information, analyzing measurable data related to any number of business processes that meet our client's needs.

You will have the exciting opportunity to assist in the decision-making of implementation solutions, defining business and system requirements and performing business process analysis. You will act as the communicator, facilitator, and mediator, always working to bridge the gap.

Role Snapshot:

As our Business Analyst, you will be providing application support for business users as well as providing technical expertise to ongoing implementation activities. You will support department level initiatives or larger scope initiatives, providing assistance to program or project managers on phases of a larger projects. May assist in business relationship management, business strategy, planning and portfolio/demand management. Responsible for business user support, system administration, support of system expansions and system maintenance.

Your Responsibilities:

* Identifies and translates user needs from user requests and develops strategies by which to meet those needs.
* Create business process flow diagrams and high-level functional designs to support technology solution.
* Create detailed and accurate end-user documentation.
* Ensure documents are clear, concise, accurate and reflect current state process.
* Works on multiple projects simultaneously. Develops technology business rule requirements, use cases and/or user stories
* Familiar with various requirements methodologies, documentation standards.
* Critically evaluate information from multiple sources and clearly indicate quality of final analysis.
* Communicate complex data in comprehensible ways.
* Determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics to meet ongoing organizational or customer information needs.
* Analyze and report on complex data to meet customer needs
* Clarifies and develops objectives and key issues in a structured manner.
* Presents requirements to stakeholders, confirming findings and/or making adjustments to documentation.
* Provides soundly based advice to both development team and business units, from a business and/or technical perspective.

You'd be a good fit if you:

* Are a recent college grad looking to get your foot in the door at an exciting, fast-growing and yes, FUN, Digital Marketing Agency
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
* 1+ (preferred) years work experience within a technology organization as a Business Analyst in direct marketing/marketing technology industry
* Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Highly organized, self-directed, attentive to details and proven customer satisfaction.
* Highly self-motivated, professional, take-charge attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work across organizational lines and influence others with minimal guidance by senior level staff members.
* User Interface Design experience a plus
* Familiar with Functional Specifications, Impact Assessments, Process and Data Flows, and Functional Use Cases.
* Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms preferred
* Understand the concepts of A/B testing, holdouts and control groups
* Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Excel Pivot Tables, and JavaScript
