Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate would have a dedication to producing high-quality output and proactive involvement towards the successful delivery of the organizations goals. The candidate will facilitate and manage the organizations commissions' process and act as the primary resource dedicated to reporting, resolvingand processing calculations. The candidate is responsible for analyzing and maintaining data within the commission platform for accuracy, which will reduce risk for the organization.The candidate must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Data Validation, and commissions requirements and processes. The candidate will have an eye for identifying and preparing commission statements for brokers and accounts payable. In addition, will identify areas of opportunity to make the commissions process more efficient. The candidate will be responsible for paying all commissions for the organization.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Communicate with various areas of the business to ensure commissions process is controlled and monitored under the company requirements

Design processes that take data from various sources to perform commission's analysis and prevent loss to the organization.

Developing commission statements that would go through an approval process defined by the required audit controls.

Researching billing and enrollment systems for inaccuracies within commission's statements and answering to internal and external departments for resolution.

Design and document requirements to ensure commissions process can be supported by a back up user.

Responsible of payments exceeding $3MM to be approved by upper management.

Storing commission's data for reporting purposes and data analysis.

Keeping track of broker agreements in a designed system or process developed to control loss

Meet with business owners and external owners to ensure all inquiries are handled within a timely manner.

Delivering commissions to the organizations internal and external payees

Deliveringon time sensitive requests that would require critical thinking and detailed research.

Gathering and documenting business requirements to meet scope of commissions.

Collecting data from various sources such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL Server.

Use of SQL scripting to extract data from database and perform analysis

Developing Microsoft Excel formulas and functions to perform calculations.

DevelopingMicrosoft Excel pivot tables, calculated fields, and slicers to develop reports.

DevelopingMicrosoft Excel to perform data analysis on large data sets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree preferred

Possess 1 - 3 years' experience working with Excel

SQL Scripting knowledge is preferred

Energy industry experience preferred

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and best practices for data analysis

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a persuasive speaker and presenter

Strong quantitative and analytical skills with accuracy and attention to detail

Work well independently with minimal supervision and can manage multiple priorities

Flexible in a dynamically changing environment

ABILITIES REQUIRED

Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

Ability to meet highest attendance requirements

Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently

Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.

Ability to lifting up to 20 pounds

Ability to sit for extended periods without much movement

Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
