  • * Be able to work the full 6 month program, 30 - 40 hours per week * Intern should be of "junior or senior" standing in college or recent graduate * Intern must be enrolled in accredited program relating to the respective discipline of the department hiring the intern or recently graduated from an accredited program in good standing. Duration of Internship: 6 months as of start date Pay Rate: starts at $18 an hour + Depending on Education Level/Experience. Eligible for Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 24 hrs sick pay and 401k) Internship Summary - What specific project(s) will be assigned to the Intern? Design Organization Requirements Verification Template Tool What are the expected outcomes for the internship? Understanding of the roles & responsibilities of a design organization and product development process. Creation of tool (macro or other means) to update our certification document template set with requirements compliance correlation to the compliance matrix, consistency of requirements flowdown and ease of compliance/verification review. Creation of a user guide to using the tool. Demonstrate/train on use of tool (PLM Weekly Staff Mtg). Who will be the assigned Mentor? Chief Engineer + support from Engineering Manager What types of training will be conducted during the internship? Product Development Life Cycle - P017 & Safran Prompt PD0, SD0 and MP0; * Requirements Compliance & Verification Methods * Certification Process & Documentation Set How will educational and professional growth opportunities be facilitated? The intern will gain industry knowledge of aerospace product development life cycle which are key to be prepared for job openings in this field.
