Job Description

Job Summary

Our Graphic Designer must have razor-sharp focus, must be willing to take on a variety of tasks, and have the ability to adapt quickly to changes and deadlines. You'll play a critical role in our marketing and sales efforts and we'll look to you to create eye-catching products. As a key member of the global marketing team, you'll work cross-functionally with all departments and markets.

You must be client-focused, collaborative, and possess a high standard for design. We're looking for a very versatile and tech-savvy designer who isn't limited to one area of design, is willing to learn new tools & software, and is willing to take on new approaches and challenges. You'll execute creative solutions with high visual impact and implement them across various mediums while adhering to brand guidelines.

Essential Functions

* Design and deploy marketing communications tools and finished products across multiple forms of media, such as interactive digital documents, web, video, high-end print, social media, and PowerPoint
* Translate complex project requirements, schedules, objectives and expected outcomes into effective tools that add value
* Conduct visual research to find the best approaches to storytelling in multiple communication channels
* Create templates, adapt creative, and build production mechanical files utilizing relevant software
* Review design files and proactively solve production and deployment issues
* Combine text, image, and other graphics to design layouts that create engaging multimedia experiences
* Execute layout design & production of print and digital material
* Manage and maintain client and company design assets
* Design and support maintenance of CMS-driven and static websites, and other various web-related content
* Photograph employee headshots and take photos/video at corporate events
* Record and produce marketing videos using footage and creating animated elements as-needed
* Performs other related duties as assigned

What We Require of You

* Bachelor of Fine Arts /Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
* 2+ years of professional or intern experience in graphic design, creative development, web design, UX/UI design or equivalent with a portfolio to represent your work
* Valid Passport Travel as needed; may include weekends

What We'll Love About You

* 2-5 years of professional or intern experience in graphic design, creative development, web design, UX/UI design or a similar field with a portfolio to represent your work
* A portfolio that reflects projects on which you were the sole or lead designer, as well as projects on which you supported a lead designer
* Knowledge of print production processes
* Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
* General knowledge of video editing and motion graphics (Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects or similar)
* Experience with creation and working with templates in MS Office, specifically Word and PowerPoint
* Ability to work on Mac OS and PC
* General knowledge of developing and modifying Wordpress, Umbraco, or similar CMS templates/themes
* At least intermediate experience or an interest in DSLR photography/videography and audio editing/production (Adobe Audition or similar)
* Experience with Project Management tools, such as Teamwork or similar Experience with Email template best practices
* Experience with Marketing Automation tools, such as Hubspot or Pardot is a plus
* Ability to manage deadlines and produce products given a quick turnaround
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent proofreading abilities General knowledge of front-end web design and HTML/CSS
* Proficient in hand coding without dependence on a visual code editor
