Position Summary:

The Field Product Monitor will perform and record daily temperature and other conditions of heat-dried biosolids product stored in the field and advise management of indications of heating or other problematic conditions observed.

Essential Functions:

Daily visit field stockpiles of product to:

* monitor and record pile temperatures;
* observe and record any other aspects of the storage that may represent environmental/health issues (e.g. runoff)
* observe and report on any pellet spreading activities.

In the event product heating is observed, immediately notify:

* Manager or if manager unavailable, Philadelphia plant manager;
* subcontractor engaged to provide mitigation services; and
* Farm owner/operator.

Provide daily report on activities to manager.

Provide a weekly report summarizing sites visited, outcomes and issues encountered.

Qualifications:

* Local college student with 3.9 GPA or higher
* Must possess a valid driver's license.
* Must be willing/able to perform field activities including temperature monitoring.
* Must be able to report observations and react to issues encountered in the field.
* Must be competent in various Microsoft Office Programs
