Job Description

Sportradar is actively seeking a Finance and Accounting Intern. Working from Sportradar's US headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, the Finance and Accounting Intern will gain valuable insight into the finance world of a fast-paced technology focused company. The position will allow for exposure to real-world finance and accounting tasks, while learning from a small team of finance professionals in an exciting sports environment.


* Gain exposure to, and learn to use key financial software.
* Assist with monthly account reconciliations, month-end close, and preparation of monthly financial statements.
* Learn to perform variance analysis to assist management in identifying trends and making decisions.
* Opportunity to develop excel skills through a variety of ad-hoc reporting, which will support management's knowledge of the business.
* Receives, verifies, obtains approval, codes and enters accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports into the accounting system.
* Assists vendors and staff with questions about expenses and payables.
* Supports billing process from creation of invoice for customers through collections. Contacts customers whose account balances are past due.
* Assists with the preparation of materials and schedules for the annual financial statement audit.
* Maintains and documents strong operating controls.
* Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
* Provide general support to Accountant and Finance Manager.
* Other duties as assigned.


* Pursuing Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance or combination of education and experience will be accepted.
* Perform data entry with speed and accuracy.
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
* Ability and willingness to problem solve.
* Ability to work independently.
* Committed to upholding the highest professional work standards and ethics.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as well as product environments and able to work to tight deadlines.
* Willing to learn new technologies and able to thrive in a fast-paced and international environment.
