Key Construction is currently seeking Assistant Project Managers. Qualified applicant must have at least 2-3 years of experience managing large construction projects. Some travel required (2-5 overnight trips per month)

Essential Functions Include:

* Assist Construction Manager in planning and executing building construction and renovation projects.
* Plan and coordinate construction activities on daily basis.
* Establish budget and schedule for construction project.
* Monitor and control expenses within the established budget.
* Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining the quality and productivity.
* Oversee invoice and payment processing in a timely fashion
* Analyze construction problems and develop immediate resolutions.
* Respond to customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
* Identify slippages or delays in constructions and adjust schedules to meet deadlines
* Identify milestones and problem areas and accordingly recommend preventive actions.
* Work with Construction Manager to develop project plan, quality assurance plan and health and safety plan.
* Analyze RFI responses and monitor and process change orders.
* Provide administrative assistance to Project Manager when needed.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external client, including representatives of the owner.

Desired Skills & Experience:

* Experience with large Retail, Hospitality, Multi-family, Critical Facilities, Light Industrial and/or Healthcare preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Management, Engineering or other related field is required
* Valid Driver's License required.
