Market Research Associate

Are you obsessed with movies, TV, and video games like us? At MarketCast, we work with movie studios, TV networks, streaming platforms, and video game publishers to develop their content and marketing campaigns using data-driven insights. We're looking for a Market Research Associate to join our team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Work on different types of market research studies and entertainment properties, including movies, TV, and video games
* Develop an understanding of the global entertainment industry and its trends
* Update survey questionnaires and review for accuracy
* Read movie and TV scripts, crafting outlines and direction for the creation of marketing statements
* Review survey test links for accuracy and suggest improvements for respondent experience
* Dive into the data and help with report creation

Qualification Requirements

* A passion for entertainment and pop culture
* Bachelor's or Graduate Degree; Social Science, English, Communications, and Business degree programs preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience, including college internships
* Must be comfortable working with big datasets
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
* Comfortable designing PowerPoint presentations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); experience with Photoshop is a plus
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by MarketCast


* Bachelor's or Graduate Degree; Social Science, English, Communications, and Business degree programs preferred

Work Environment

* Work is generally performed within an office environment, which includes the use of standard office equipment

* 90% of the day spent sitting in front of a computer

Physical Demands

* Must have the ability to safely lift a minimum of 25 lbs. without restrictions

* Requires many hours of working in front of a computer and extended periods of telephone

* Visual acuity (8-10 hours viewing computer)
