Job Description

Job Summary

The courier provides off-site pick-up and delivery, via company provided automobile, of bank transactions to business customers. The courier will follow specific courier procedures, drive an assigned route, and ensure all customer transactions are completed daily in an accurate and timely manner. The courier is also responsible for maintaining accurate logs and records as well as general upkeep of the company provided vehicle which must be returned to the company daily.

Essential Functions Utilizes company provided automobile to pick up deposits and items from off-site business customers as scheduled either on an assigned route or as requested. Performs role in compliance with the courier manual and all company policies and procedures. May assist customers with questions and is responsible for escalating customer questions and/or concerns to appropriate party (courier supervisor or branch manager). Maintains all vehicle services as described in the courier manual such as, but not limited to, oil changes, tire rotations, car washes, etc. Must understand and adhere to all traffic laws. Maintains daily logs and records of courier services performed. Perform a variety of general clerical tasks such as completing personal expense reports, monthly recap reports, etc. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job Requirements

* High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required.
* The ability to safely operate a motor vehicle (company provided) and sit for extended periods of time. Couriers often drive up to 200 miles a day.
* Must have and maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws. Motor Vehicle Record check will be done at least annually to ensure good standing.
* Good organization skills and the ability to follow instructions and routes
* The ability to regularly walk, sit, stand, lift, and reach. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
* Effective verbal communication skills. Proficiency in multiple languages is desired, but not required.
* Ability to read, write and understand general correspondence
* Ability to read and follow all policy and procedures material
* Good customer service skills
* The ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
* Basic computer skills.

Certificates Required: Valid State Driver's License
