Job Description

Primary Purpose and Function

The Direct Sales Intern is responsible for making retail sales calls on established draft buying accounts to generate sales, increase distribution and meet cross-organizational sales goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

* Assist Direct Sales Specialist in providing accounts with brand marketing support
* Assist with point of sale merchandising and brand price features
* Establish a positive working relationship with Kramer retail customers
* Identify and close new sales distribution opportunities
* Support customer service needs especially draft services and marketing support
* Attain knowledge of Kramer's monthly CPL (Current Price List) and understanding of supplier availability by county
* Develop brand knowledge and understanding enabling precise customer product communication driving increased revenue benefits
* Learn and develop skills to effectively communicate draft beer profitability with key decision makers.
* Attend company gatherings such as sales meetings, industry and corporate events
* Meet weekly to review prior week's accomplishments while planning current week.

Education and Experience

* Currently enrolled in college or university
* High School Diploma

Work Environment

The role operates in a professional retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and use of personal vehicle with valid driver's license.
