Job Description

Overview

Responsible for the Cost Controlling function for PI & MM Instruments product lines. To collect, create, and analyze actual, forecast, and budget data of manufacturing costs, output and efficiency levels, actual to standards performance for PI & MM Instruments product lines. Supports management with consolidated reports and analysis concerning sales, variable margin and costs of sales

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the overall accuracy and timeliness of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reported manufacturing performance, actual and budget within the due dates of closing as determined by the division controller
* Maintains standard manufacturing cost file for all products manufactured in PI & MM Inst product lines for pricing, inventory and scrap valuation purposes
* Responsible in preparation of monthly and YTD P&L, track sales and variable margin reports by products and customers
* Provides data for major pricing decisions including new product and manufacturing cost /pricing comparative analyses
* Follows uniform and consistent procedures to control and report inventory valuation (material, labor and overhead) including inventory re-valuation and adjustments. Responsible for procedures relating to taking of physical and perpetual inventory
* Responsible for Capital Spending plan and analysis
* Supports development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for PI & MM Inst product lines, direct labor costs, material costs and purchase price variance analysis

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Economics, accounting or business management., MBA a plus
* Minimum of 2 years related experience with emphasis on cost/controlling principles, accounting and ERP systems
* Microsoft Excel, English - high level, QAD/TM1 a plus
