R1's Performance Management is one of R1's fastest growing operating segments and provides central support to site teams and within Shared Service Processing Centers. Performance Management works across all operational areas within the organization to drive business performance by monitoring of key operational metrics, facilitating central operating rhythm, and ensuring coordination between site and Shared Service teams.

We are looking for an individual with deep Revenue Cycle experience who is looking for an exciting challenge to join R1's Performance Management group as a Regional Accountability Manager. This is a high-visibility, "in-the-trenches" role and will include daily interaction with our Performance Management regional team, site leaders and Shared Service teams. You will be expected to leverage your revenue cycle expertise to help identify opportunities to minimize defects and improve process outcomes, while demonstrating an ability to produce customer-ready deliverable and solid judgement when solving problems.

Some of your work products will include financial analyses, process performance reports, process flows, group meeting facilitation, and client relationship development. The ideal candidate will be a high-performing hands-on individual who has proven delivery with a strong understanding of revenue cycle and technology. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to form the big picture. You likely thrive under pressure and see ambiguity and uncertainty as your opportunity to solve problems, innovate and deliver. The Regional Accountability Manager will spend a portion of their time working remotely, at a customer site location, within one of our Shared Services offices, and/or R1's Corporate office. This role will report to the Regional Director of Performance Management within a given region.

Responsibilities:

* Actively build and participate in the operational rhythm of the business including appropriate communication, insight and incident management
* Partner across teams and with key stakeholders to simplify processes, policy and align procedures to changing business models/priorities
* Leverage real-world understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and be an expert and trusted agent of communication to drive both accountability and prioritization of critical operational processes
* Additionally, you will use data to generate key insights including variances to best practice, current maturity and performance, adoption levels, and pain points
* Ensure initiative tracker, action registry and meetings are driving top priorities and work down plans are created as appropriate to track progress
* Manages and responsible for growth and success of PMO Lead within the Region
* Collaborate with BE/FE lead and site team to optimize efficiencies around revenue cycle operations adhering to compliance requirements while reducing time away from primary tasks for shared service and site teams to drive process and performance improvement
* Establish and communicate revenue cycle performance and resolution findings to regional director
* Ensure performance expectations are communicated, measured and reported timely

Required Qualifications:

* Shared Services and/or Operations experience
* Revenue cycle experience
* Experience solving problems in fast paced high pressure situations
* Proven ability to look at the world through the eyes of others and interpret business needs in a way that drives the success of others
* Strong financial, economic, analytical and technical acumen
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively across groups
* Conflict/Negotiation management skills
* Attention to detail, highly organized and strong process-focused aptitude
* Possess strong leadership and organizational skills and can positively influence others
* Ability to think creatively, be analytically minded, objective and independent
* Can deal with ambiguity and thrive in a highly dynamic environment
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate and provide alternative business solutions
* Prior experience of at least 4 years with a strong emphasis on operations, finance and data analytics
* An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Economics
