Job Description

Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a Junior Credit Analyst to join the Global Credit Risk team. The team is responsible for assessing and monitoring the financial stability of The ICE's counterparties across the multiple subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

* Conduct credit analyses including gathering and interpreting all types of credit and market information on existing and potential counterparties.
* Centrally coordinate credit risk reviews, ongoing counterparty surveillance, review earnings releases and market events impacting ICE's counterparties
* Participate in gathering business requirements for the design of a credit risk management system.
* Remain up to date on regulatory guidance and practices related to counterparty credit risk management and keep abreast of current trends/industry events in the counterparty space.
* Support the preparation of multiple Risk and Credit reports and presentations to Senior Management
* Maintain credit risk management policies and procedures and effectively communicate them to the various business units
* Support ad-hoc requests from other functional areas and senior management

Knowledge and Experience

* One to two years of work experience in a related field
* Bachelor's degree in finance or a business related field with significant coursework in financial statement analysis
* CFA designation and/or MBA preferred
* Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial institutions and Basel regulatory framework
* Familiarity with Over-The-Counter (OTC) exchange traded derivative products including: commodities, energy, credit derivatives, equity and FX.
* Familiarity with the agency ratings (S&P, Moody's and FITCH) credit methodology and ratings
* Knowledge or Repo/Reverse Repo transactions and letters of credit
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
* Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office products and SQL queries
