Job Description

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Part-Time Military Operations Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Provide direct support in the development and coordination and staffing of Command, HQDA, USSTRATCOM, and Joint Strategies and policies. Will provide support to the development of the strategy and policy products required by the HQ USASMDC/ARSTRAT. The strategies and policies shall include the Integrated Priority List, Annual Joint Assessment, Chairman's Assessment, Security and Policy Reviews, and Space and Missile defense strategies of the Army and other services. Must have experience in strategic policy, joint operational planning and global force management at the Joint Staff or Combatant Command level. Candidate will utilize all available data to support strategy required to plan, synchronize and integrate USASMDC/ARSTRAT strategic planning and policy positions, and initiatives in support of U.S. Army long range force modernization and development, and USSTRATCOM campaign plan objectives. Attend and support conferences, meetings and briefings as required.

Required Skills/Experience:

* Experience/knowledge of Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Service staffs and components for the development and analysis of Strategic Campaign Plans, CONPLANS, and Assessments.
* Experience in strategic policy, joint operational planning and global force management at the Joint Staff or Combatant Command level.
* Department of Defense (DoD) experience.
* Experience with Service or Joint planning staffs, including inter-agency coordination.
* Experience with senior military staff.
* Knowledge of military processes, methodologies, and orders pertaining to Space & Missile Defense.
* Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Travel: 25%
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

A completed Bachelor's Degree with 5-10 years of relative work experience.

Desired Skills:

Graduate of School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS).
