Job Description

Responsibilities & Duties

* Coordinate & implement the QA/QC plan with the Mortgage Banking Division, the Bank's Compliance department and outside QC vendors,
* Supervise and ensure timely submissions of the HMDA LAR on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including periodic reconciliations
* Manage QA staffs through coaching, training, and mentoring
* Prepare management responses to compliance, credit admin team on any issues
* Review supporting source & validating documents for each loan in HMDA LAR Responsibility details
* Review QA and QC findings and prepare report for Senior management's review
* Assist in the preparation and revision of procedures
* Ensure department logs for adverse files, imaged files and post-closing documents are properly maintained
* Ensure timely completion of QA and QC reports
* Ensure adequate QA/QC processes are in place to ensure adequate sampling and testing is done to ensure loans are compliant with State & Federal regulations, the Bank's policies and procedures and regulatory agencies.

RequirementsJob Qualifications/Requirements

* Required: 5+ years of Residential Auditing/Compliance experience
* Required: Knowledge of Lending Compliance regulations: Regulation X (RESPA), Regulation Z, Regulation B, Regulation C, Fair Lending, HMDA Guidelines among others.
* Required: Experience with internal and outside audit processes and responses alike
* Required: Fraud review skills and ability to take action immediately
* Required: Knowledgeable with CFPB compliance, guidelines and execution of policies
* Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Required: Excellent customer service skills to all: business partners and co-workers alike
* Required: Quality assurance that pertains to residential lending products
* Required: Must be extremely organized, analytical and detail oriented
* Required: Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
* Required: Through knowledge of mortgage lending, loan documentation requirements, underwriting title, escrow and loan processing policies, procedures, terminology, automated processing systems and Federal and State guidelines

Minimum Education Level: BS/BA degree
