Contractor Project Manager

We are looking for positive, ambitious, outgoing individuals with impeccable people skills to be part of a growth oriented Sales Team.

Essential Position Functions:

* Manage large scale material scheduling and delivery projects with multiple contractors and suppliers.
* Ability to create and manage a material delivery schedule with Microsoft Project or similar software, from a project work-flow and construction schedule.
* Participate in internal and external project coordination meetings with contractors, engineers, suppliers may be necessary. This role may not be exclusively office-based, and may require several days per week at client facilities or in the field.
* Manage all job closeout procedures.
* Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.

Position Requirements and qualifications:

* Advanced College degree preferred in Construction Management or minimum of 5 years of progressive Project Management experience in commercial or industrial construction.
* Excellent Project Management skills, including communication, scheduling, and conflict resolution.
* Familiarity with electrical wholesale industry preferred.
* Strong understanding and interpretation of electrical drawings to effectively communicate with electrical contractors.
* Excellent communication skills, including English speaking and writing ability.
* Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
