Job Description

The F&I Accounting Processor reviews all customer files to ensure that all paperwork is in good order as well as updating the status in the Dealership DMS. The F&I Accounting Processor will also scan documents for archiving and transmittal to lenders.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance or a related field and dealership finance and insurance experience. He or she has a positive attitude, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, strong business acumen, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service. Computer skills required for this position are high to advanced.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Works with Finance Managers to obtain financing through lenders on vehicle purchases in conformance with state and federal law
* Assists in preparation of all state and federal documents regarding vehicle purchases in a timely manner and in accordance with established laws and procedures
* Maintains good working relationships with lending institutions to insure that documents are received in good order for fast funding
* Works with the Sales and Accounting teams to ensure best practices for all documentation and work flow
* Understands and complies with all federal, state, and local regulations
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Maintains a high level of confidentiality

* Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
* Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
* Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong math skills
* Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Excel
