Perrigo Nutritionals, in Georgia, VT has an opportunity for a Supplier Quality Assurance Intern for the Summer of 2019. The shift for this position is 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Friday.

The Supplier Quality Assurance Intern will:

* Investigate/document supplier complaints and forward to appropriate contacts.
* Assist with supplier scorecards (external and internal).
* Evaluate supplier complaint data for trends and opportunities.
* Assist with sample preparation for sensory panel.
* Assist in review of audit documents to facilitate close-out.
* Assist in assessment of audit trends.
* Assist with internal audits under guidance of PCQI
* Assist in development of quality documentation for contract suppliers.

Required Experience:

* Currently enrolled at an accredited college and pursuing Bachelor's Degree in a Science Field or related discipline.
* Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing.
* Students pursuing a graduate degree will be considered.

Preferred Skills

* Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and cross-functional departments.
* Able to work as an individual, as well as in a team environment.
* An advanced knowledge of Excel.

Position Physical Requirements

* Sitting frequently. Standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis. This would require the ability to, but not limited to, sit and type, lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Required to use hands and fingers to handle; feel or operate objects.
