What's The Role About:

To complement our World-Class technical teams, we are seeking a temporary Podcast Producer to plan, produce, and assist in formatting a weekly hour-long podcast.

Some things you will be responsible for:

* Sound design and setup - including software and equipment purchasing (proper audio gear) and a system that isn't wildly complicated to operate. The goal is an entry level, quality program, with the ability to scale the operation in the future.
* Recording and production - This role requires creating the means to bring the channel to life.
* Plan, produce, and assist in segmenting a 45-minute weekly podcast.
* The podcast producer will package the podcast episodes in form of a deliverable audio file, which will be uploaded SoundCloud and iTunes or more.
* Editing - The podcast producer will edit the interview for length, content, and audio quality and will assemble each episode (with the intro and outro and music)

Some qualifications and skills we need you to have:

* In-depth knowledge of Audio editing and sound design.
* You have a strong understanding of the digital tools, social and broadcast platforms (iTunes, Soundcloud, twitch, Facebook, etc.), and processes to implement a radio program.
* Leadership - We want you to be the expert and advise the best path forward to create the channel in a cost-effective way.
* Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
* You have 3+ years of radio and production experience.
* Have an interest in providing a platform for a positive voice in a growing industry.
* You know how to work both autonomously and part of a small team to help bring vision to reality.
* A self-starter who demonstrates critical thinking. Skilled at developing and exercising cross-functional influence; translating between business owners, technical and production teams.
* Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbally).
* Adobe Premier and After Effects, and Audition a major plus!
