Job Description

QVC has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to become a Strategic Alliances Intern in our Community and Cause Marketing Affairs Dept. Under general supervision of the Manger of Strategic Alliances, performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties in addition to assisting with the ideation of various entrepreneurship initiatives, as well as attend key strategy meetings that help in the execution of strategic partnerships around entrepreneurship initiatives.

Job Description Details


* Responsible for PAF'ing product for various needs of the team.
* Assist with the creation of decks for various internal and external partners as needed.
* Responsible for the administrative and clerical operation of the Department.
* Research and evaluate potential entrepreneurship and project initiatives that help elevate and communicate the value proposition of the Qurate Retail Group
* Potential to travel for support of various events as needed
* Other duties as assigned


* Some college courses in marketing, business, communications or related field
* Administrative experience a plus, with experience supporting management preferred.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Confident, self-motivated individual. Must have desire to learn and be able to multi-task.
* Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines.
* Ability to decipher priorities and to seek assistance/direction when necessary
* Ability to access and enter information using automated systems quickly and accurately
* Working knowledge of PC including; Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
* Ability to handle confidential information
* Ability to lift large boxes up to 20lbs
