Job Description


UWorld is seeking a motivated Software Developer Intern who will have an immediate impact on our web-based, exam preparation company. Successful candidates will enjoy problem solving and have experience in design, development, testing, and deployment of interactive web applications.


Minimum Education Required:

* Recent graduate or current candidate in masters degree program in computer science

Minimum Experience Required:

* Working knowledge of object-oriented design and programming skills (Java or C#)
* Working knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript
* Experience in responsive design and related frameworks (Bootstrap, etc.)
* Working knowledge of JavaScript-based frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, Knockout, etc.
* Basic knowledge of SQL commands and database concepts
* Experience with developing hybrid mobile apps
* Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and best practices in software development

Required Skills:

* Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and growing environment
* Being a fast learner & self-starter with ability to complete tasks with minimal oversight
* Being adept at handling ambiguous requirements
* Strong analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with Selenium, Telerik test studio, or similar web-based automated testing tool
* Experience with Appium or similar mobile app automation tool
* Experience in designing test cases, test plans, or acceptance testing
