Job Description

Position Summary:

UWorld is seeking a motivated Software Developer Intern who will make an immediate impact to our web-based, exam-preparation company. Successful candidates will enjoy problem solving and have experience in design, development, testing, and deployment of interactive web applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education Required:

* Be Master's degree candidate in Computer Science
* Be recent university student/graduate of a Master's program

Minimum Experience Required:

* Working knowledge of object-oriented design and programming skills (Java or C#)
* Working knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript
* Have experience in responsive design and related frameworks (Bootstrap, etc.)
* Working knowledge of JavaScript-based frameworks like Angular, ReactJS, Knockout, etc
* Have basic knowledge of SQL commands and database concepts
* Have experience with developing hybrid mobile apps
* Have good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and best practices in software development

Required Skills:

* Have the ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and growing environment
* Be a fast learner & self-starter with ability to get things done with minimal oversight
* Be adept at handling ambiguous requirements
* Have strong analytical skills
