Job Description

This position is perfect for a new grads from Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architectural programs with some field experience. You will develop professional proficiency in the delivery of constructive expertise and time/project management. You will work with corporate project management, purchasing, vendors, hotel managers, subcontractors and construction personnel.

This position will require the ability to travel to project sites within the US on a frequent basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Working directly with the site construction managers and subcontractors on the timely completion of assignment-Preparing field reports
* Assisting with document control
* Scheduling and ensuring scheduled dates are met
* Coordinating with hotel management and staff for project moves, changes and construction
* Work with procurement, logistics, warehouse and design to ensure FF/E products are expedited to meet dates required
* Coordinating construction with other activities such as liquidation and installation of FF/E
* Receiving and expediting RFI's with the project team
* Monitoring and ensuring quality of construction
* Conducting walk-throughs and completing punch lists with contractors
* Participate in reviewing, approving and tracking of change orders
* Participating in tracking of costs as compared to budget
* Budget preparation
* Invoice review and approval

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelors Degree in architecture, construction or related discipline
* Articulate, with clear analytical approach to problem solving
* Proven organizational and time management skill set
* Team leadership experience and strength
* Strong written and verbal communicator
* Ability to navigate web-based construction management software
* Generally understand and utilize information technology in the performance of work including

Training in OSHA safety requirements and CMAA would be a plus

Hospitality experience a plus
