Job Description


Supports the accounting and finance function by updating and maintaining financial records of the Company. Performs timely reconciliations of general ledger accounts, and prepares reports for management using automated systems and tools.


* Assist Controller in day to day Accounting Functions.
* Record day to day financial transactions and complete the general ledger posting process
* Assist the Accounts Receivable/Payable departments in solving discrepancies
* Assist Human Resource Department in collecting information for payroll and benefit administration
* Prepare monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts
* Maintain company fixed asset records, including asset tagging and prepare monthly depreciation


* Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
* Reconcile subsidiary records to general ledger
* Maintain historical files of financial and other business records.
* Maintain data & run reports for management.
* Review vendor invoices for accuracy prior to payment
* Assist in reconciling inventory and participate in periodic cycle counting activity.
* Assist Internal Audit Department in Quarterly and Annual Audit process
* Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit
* Maintain the document center for controlled documents
* Maintain the petty cash fund
* Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
* *Additional duties that may be assigned

Job Requirements


* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
* Proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.


* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; or two or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


* Ability to follow Company policies and procedures in compliance with the company's branding standards.
* Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately both orally and written.
* Ability to communicate work goals, progress and changes as required.


* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
