We are looking for a self-directed, professional On Call Staffing Coordinator to answer after hours calls from the comfort of your home. We are seeking an extraordinary team member with a deep compassion for the elderly and those who serve them. The part time, On Call Staffing Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of after hours on-call duties and will work closely with the Scheduling Coordinators in order to provide the highest quality service to clients. Our On Call Coordinators answer all calls after hours, live and in a professional manor. The weekly on-call shifts are typically Monday thru Thursday from 5pm-8am and weekend on-call shifts are Friday 5pm to Monday at 8am.

* Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
* Must be honest, dependable, professional and have a passion for caring for our aging community

Essential Job Functions:

* Schedules and coordinates day to day activities of caregivers.
* Handles call-offs and rescheduling of caregivers and clients
* Maintains client and caregiver database
* Answers telephone, takes new client inquiries and converts this call to a care assessment
* Responds promptly and courteously to all clients' calls.
* On-call
* On-call phone responsibilities to handle client and caregiver emergencies, staffing of call-off shifts and new client staffing.
* Usual hours
* Weekly on call = Monday - Thursday 5PM to 8AM.
* Weekend on call = Friday 5PM to Monday 8AM.


* Options for working on call weekdays, weekends and holidays.
* Requries the ability to train in our office for 40 hours prior to starting



QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

* High school graduation; prefer 2 years min. college level
* Two years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered

Training and Experience:

* Staffing experience strongly preferred. Senior care or homecare experience a plus.
* Two years previous experience providing direct homecare preferred
* Must possess a valid driver's license and pass DMV check.
* Must pass background check, drug and TB screening
* Strong customer service and sales skills
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills (phone and in-person)
* Excellent organizational skills. Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.
* Ability to work evenings as required
* Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities in a quick and efficient manner.
