Job Description

SUMMARY: The IT Support Specialist I implements, supports and monitors CareHere's technical infrastructure. The IT Support Specialist I resolves end user requests, installs, diagnoses, repairs and maintains all hardware and networking equipment to ensure optimal system performance. The IT Support Specialist I will also be involved with all technical aspects at CareHere as part of the Infrastructure team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Performs hands-on fixes, including software/ hardware install and upgrade, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
* Performs advanced troubleshooting and remediation.
* Escalates more complex problems to the appropriate staff.
* Follows proper documentation procedures and policies.
* Communicates clearly with multiple levels of staff and educates users.
* Fields incoming help requests from end users.
* Supports system and user administration for the entire organization
* Maintain administrative systems for accuracy (AD, Email, Asset Management, etc.…)
* Recommends and helps to implement new technical solutions.
* Provides additional end-to-end support for a small but, complex network located in multiple locations supporting local and remote users.
* Manages deployment, administration and support for all corporate desktops.
* Accesses and installs appropriate upgrades, patches, drivers, etc.
* Identifies and learns appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
* Ensures license compliance and documentation.
* Follows up with users to make sure that all issues have been satisfactorily resolved.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

* High School graduate or GED required
* 2+ years of equivalent work experience or equivalent education
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Great customer service skills
* Computer literacy, including knowledge of software applications and familiarity with MS Office, internet, and mobile applications.

Preferred:

* College degree preferred in the field of computer science
* Microsoft Certifications a plus (CCNA, MCP, MCSE)
